School Tree Planting Programme
Greening school compounds with pupils and students at Kibasila, Kongowe, Lionel and Vingunguti — building a culture of environmental care from a young age.

Planting trees in schools and communities to restore green cover, provide shade and help fight climate change.
Trees cool our cities, protect soils, support biodiversity and absorb carbon. Every tree planted with a student or a community member is also a lesson in stewardship.
WEMASA leads tree-planting days in schools — including Kibasila, Kongowe, Lionel and Vingunguti — and in public spaces, working with pupils, teachers, local leaders and partners to plant and care for seedlings.
