Sustainable & Organic Agriculture

Training women vegetable farmers in organic methods, including natural pesticides, boosters and fungicides made from local plants.

Many small-scale vegetable farmers depend on costly chemical inputs that can harm soil, water and health.

WEMASA trains women farmers in practical organic techniques — preparing natural pesticides, plant boosters and fungicides from locally available plants. The result is healthier crops, safer food and a farming model that protects the environment. Trainings have taken place with farmer groups in Kisewe and Kiburugwa, Dar es Salaam.
